Debates Netting Factory
Every Friday in September the Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture (known in the Netherlands as Fonds BKVB) organizes a debate in the Netting Factory in Apeldoorn. The series of debates form the public final within in the context of the ‘Power of Place’ and is a part of the International Triennial Apeldoorn. The program consists of debates, discussions and excursions involving professionals from the Netherlands and from abroad.

On the 5th of September the garden- and landscape historian Erik de Jong opens de series. In the then following weeks different components related to the social meaning of landscape will form the central theme: urban (12th September), rural (19th September) and infrastructural (26th September). In addition to her brief study on the American Parkway Stijnie Lohof from JSA will take part in the discussion forum which will be held at the 26th of September. Moderator that day will be Huib Haye van der Werf, lectures will be held by historian Tim Davis (in english) and architect / government advisor Ton Venhoeven.
